The Aam Aadmi Party has fielded two of its former MLAs in the councilor’s election this time in the by-election for five seats of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD By-election). There is also a woman candidate among the five candidates.
AAP has nominated Haji Mohammad Isharaq Khan as the candidate from the Chauhan Bangar 41E seat. Haji Mohammad Ishaq Khan was an Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Seelampur between 2015 and 2020. At the same time, Ramchandra has got the ticket from Rohini C 32N seat. Ramchandra was an Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Bawana between 2017 and 2020. The Aam Aadmi Party had announced candidates for the by-elections in 5 seats in the MCD.
Other candidates include Dhirendra alias Bunty Gautam from Kalyanpuri ward 8E and Vijay Kumar from Trilokpuri ward 2E. Sunita Mishra has been nominated from Shalimar Bagh North 62 N. According to the Aam Aadmi Party, all the candidates have done a good job for the public in their respective areas, based on that, they have been given tickets.
