Dr. RN Prasad, CMO of Poornima Sethi Super Specialty Hospital of South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC), told in a special conversation with TV9 Bharatvarsh that it has been prepared in collaboration with Nipro Company of Japan.

Gyanesh Bharti, the commissioner of South Delhi Municipal Corporation, told TV9 Bharatvarsh that between the first and second wave of the corona, it was found that many patients died due to the inability to get dialysis done. In such a situation, this center will prove to be a milestone in the coming days.

Dr. R. N. Prasad told that the cost of dialysis will be only 1400 rupees. Whatever medicine will be used in this process will be absolutely free. The cost of this medicine will be borne by the South Delhi Municipal Corporation. Apart from this, if a booster needle is required, then that too will be given free of cost by the South Delhi Municipal Corporation, which costs Rs 5000 in the market.

More centers will be built,
Gyanesh Bharti said that at present, the dialysis facility has started in 10 beds in Kalkaji, South Delhi. Along with this, a 10-bed dialysis center will also be started in Tilak Nagar, Delhi on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.

This center has been made world-class. In this, a machine worth two crores has been procured from Germany. The specialty of this machine is that it is equipped with a state-of-the-art heat disinfection system, double pass dialysis grade ultrapure RO system. It has been claimed that this will give better treatment and less trouble to the patients during dialysis.

Dr. RN Prasad said that the biggest risk of infection in dialysis patients is. This hospital has been designed in such a way that the level of infection in the patients can be reduced. He said that even if the third wave of Kovid comes, then during that time also the dialysis of patients will be done easily at this center.
