A horrific road accident has occurred in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. About 17 people have died in road accidents. According to the information, there has been a collision between the bus and the loader in Sachendi. The bus overturned in the accident. The bus was going from Kanpur to Ahmedabad in Gujarat.
CM Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the accident. CM Yogi has announced a relief amount of Rs 2 lakh each for the next of kin of the deceased. In the matter, CM Yogi Adityanath has ordered DM Kanpur to investigate. According to the information, the bus belonged to Shatabdi Travels. The speed of the bus was high at the time of the accident. On getting information about the incident, the officials reached the spot. Relief and rescue work is going on on the spot.
CMO Reached Hospital
The accident happened in Sachendi, where the speeding bus first hit the loader, after which it fell down from the bridge. The injured are being sent to Hallett Hospital. The CMO himself has reached Hallett Hospital to see the arrangements for the treatment of the injured. According to the information, the deceased in the accident belong to Ishwariganj and Lalpur village of Kalyanpur block.
21 People Were Brought to Hallett Hospital
Police said that there was a face-to-face collision between the bus and the loader. 17 people have died in the accident. The injured are being treated at Hallett Hospital. The bus was going from Lucknow to Delhi. So far, a total of 21 people have been brought to Hallett Hospital. Of these, 17 people have died.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh each from PMNRF for the families of those who lost their lives in the Kanpur accident. At the same time, the assistance of 50 thousand rupees will be provided to the injured.
