Malinga had taken the most wickets in the IPL. He took 170 wickets in 122 matches. Which are the highest wickets of any bowler in this league. His best performance in this has been to take five wickets for 13 runs. In the IPL 2020, Mumbai Indians included Australian fast bowler James Pattinson replacing Malinga as the Sri Lankan player refused to play for personal reasons.
Earlier, Mumbai said in its statement that seven players have been released.
